It’s a sign. I need a holiday.
1. Friends, not one but two inviting me to join them for a getaway to Siem Reap. How hard it is for me to reject the-so-tempting offer… seeing the magnificent Angkor Wat again. The sunset… the friendly people, the nice food. On that thought, we don’t see Cambodia food much here, in fact I dont recall restaurants serving Cambodia food. The one we had, are only Thai and Vietnam food.
2. Last week, a friend came over to have a short chat with me… and he was telling me that he is going off to Hanoi for a week! Vietnam… sigh…
3. Of the so many times I visited Times Bookstore Warehouse sale, I’ve never really found a travel book that is uptodate and really a bargain. But it’s a sign! I found an uptodate Lonely Planet on Laos on sale 
The more I read, the more I feel like going…
4. I came home on time yesterday after work. After my mother finished watching her dose of Taiwan Hokkien drama on TV, I switched the channel and a travel show was on… and that specific episode, they were introducing Myanmar…
(so you see… 1st it was Cambodia, then it was Vietnam followed by Laos and now its Myanmar)
5. As I was looking for some pictures to play around with Picasa, I saw this folder of picture when I visited Bangkok. Ah… the Grand Palace, Wat Arun… I miss Bangkok :
6. On top of all that, Calv tempted me to join him over the weekend to go Penang. Ah.. the good food. Grin, I just need a holiday ok. Despite just went up north 2 weeks ago, but didnt really get to go around much, more on attending a good friend’s wedding dinner.
Despite the sign that I probably should go all the neighbouring countries - Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam. … but but.. the bottom line is… I need a holiday!! 
Side note: I dreamt of Lee Hom the other day… good dream
